Veterans Day 2024: L&M is Proud of Our Veterans

L&M Radiator is proud to employ more than 20 veterans of the U.S. military at our operations in Hibbing, Minnesota, and Yankton, South Dakota.

In 2023, L&M Radiator donated $5,000 to the Stop Soldier Suicide Mission.

Hibbing, Minnesota and Yankton, South Dakota – Veterans have an inimitable combination of strength of character, unrelenting work ethic, and dignity that L&M Radiator has the honor of witnessing every single day. At L&M Radiator, we take immense pride in supporting our veterans and their families. We extend our deepest gratitude to the veterans who have devoted their lives to serving the United States of America.

“Once you’ve served in the military, you have a way about you,” said Randy Tupa, quality assurance manager at L&M Radiator and veteran of the United States Marines and Army. “I know a veteran when I see one. It doesn’t matter the branch. When you have served your country and have seen so much it’s this look that a veteran has, and you just know.”

This Veterans Day, we encourage anyone and everyone to support the Stop Soldier Suicide Mission, a national nonprofit organization focused on lending mental health support to veterans and solving the issue of soldier suicide.

If you see someone wearing gear from their respective branch today (and every day), we encourage you to take a moment to thank them for their service. For many veterans, civilian life feels much different after years of service.

“That’s why Veterans Day is so important to me. It’s like a birthday or a celebration,” Tupa said. “I served many years of my life to protect my loved ones and this country — it’s nice to be recognized for that.”
